On April 26-27, 2024, 16,480 people came together in Veracruz, Mexico, to hear Dr. Michael Youssef preach the Gospel at Leading The Way’s “Come and See” Evangelistic Celebration.
Leading up to the Celebration, Leading The Way worked alongside the local church, training and mobilizing 800 pastors and church leaders to prepare for the harvest. Advertisements for the Celebration covered city buses and billboards. The local community came together to prayer-walk their city, asking God to do a mighty work. One ministry leader shared, “The whole city knows what is about to happen. I believe a lot of people are going to come to Christ.”
Over the weekend, as Dr. Youssef preached about what it means to be “born again,” 1,439 people made decisions for Christ—and half of those who made decisions for Christ were youth. We thank God for drawing so many lost souls to Christ in a region where only 10% of people are evangelical Christians.
