For those who have left Islam for Christ, the pressures of living in Islamic culture are great.
Prayer: Lord God, I thank You that You promise to comfort and bless those who are persecuted because of You. Protect Your children during Ramadan as their faith sets them apart from their Islamic culture. Help them to cling to You and know You in a more intimate way for You are all they have. Holy Spirit, comfort my brothers and sisters in their loneliness. Encourage them in the midst of doubt. Help them recall Your Scripture in times of need. Lead them to other believers who are experiencing the same hardships. Strengthen Your church and show them opportunities to tell others about the amazing gift of salvation You have freely given them in Christ. Thank You for Your watchful care over my brothers and sisters. Your promise to never leave nor forsake Your children. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
