Jesus told us that the final "birth pain" preceding His return will be the proclamation of the Gospel to the farthest corners of the globe (see Matthew 24:14). As the time of Christ's return draws near, our work together is intensifying as we take the Gospel to hostile nations, war-torn regions, and remote lands. For example, on February 24, 2022—the very day the war in Ukraine broke out—members of our team heard from our trusted partners on the ground. They were desperate for prayer. As Dr. Youssef and the Leading The Way team began crying out to God, He made it clear: We must do something to share Jesus with the Ukrainian people in new ways.

Through your partnership, God was already at work. Just a few months prior, a shipment of Navigators had landed in Ukraine and Russia. On top of that, Leading The Way was able to expedite the production of Dr. Youssef's TV programs into the Ukrainian language. Just weeks after the war began, these new broadcasts were on television sets and smartphones in Ukraine and other neighboring countries. We then added a Ukrainian citizen to our field team, who began to minister directly to both people responding to our Ukrainian broadcasts and those commenting on our new Ukrainian social media pages.
