"What led you to expand your ministry at this stage in your life?"
I want to hear from the Lord and have His plan.
Although I'm not very patient, I take time to sit before the Lord, whether for days or weeks, and pray, "Lord, what is Your plan for me?" I want to hear from the Lord and have His plan, so I pray, "Lord, I don't want to give You my plan for You to bless it; I want You to give me Your plan so that I can obey it."
I do this with my ministry teams as well. That's how the Lord gave me the seven-year plan Vision 2025. Now, at about halfway through the seven years, we are way ahead of our goals. Our 24/7 satellite TV channel THE KINGDOM SAT, which broadcasts into the Arab world, is seeing thousands upon thousands of people coming to Christ.
During COVID we launched short evangelistic spots on major cable news networks, directing people to FindingTruePeace.com. And 200,000 people have responded to these. We have a battery of retired pastors on the phone ready to answer questions and share the hope of Christ. Over 7,000 people have given their lives to Christ on the phone and been connected to local, Bible-believing churches.
We are way ahead in terms of our plans or objective—well, it was God's objective. And I can't enjoy life more than I'm enjoying it now. I enjoy life in serving, and that's the greatest joy. So I have no plans of retiring. Hopefully, I'll go straight to heaven before I ever do.
